District-Wide School Safety Plan and Code of Conduct
Notice of Public Review and Comment

In accordance with New York State Education Law and the NYSED Commissioner's Regulations, the Gilboa-Conesville Central School District hereby announces that the District-Wide School Safety Plan and Code of Conduct have been developed and are available for review by members of the public.

District-Wide School Safety Plan

The District-Wide School Safety Plan addresses district-wide policies and procedures for emergency response, including prevention, intervention, and response measures designed to ensure the safety and security of students, staff, and visitors within the Gilboa-Conesville Central School District.

Code of Conduct/Student Handbook

The Code of Conduct establishes clear expectations for the behavior of students, staff, parents, and visitors within the Gilboa-Conesville Central School District. The Code outlines standards of conduct, disciplinary procedures, and the rights and responsibilities of all members of the school community. It is designed to promote a safe, respectful, and supportive learning environment in which every student can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Public Review

A copy of the proposed District-Wide School Safety Plan, Code of Conduct and Draft Student Handbook are available for public inspection at the following locations:

Members of the public are encouraged to review the plan and submit comments prior to its adoption by the Board of Education.

A public hearing on the District-Wide School Safety Plan will be held on:
