Congratulations to all the student musicians who represented GCCS at the Delaware County School Music Festival in Walton over the past weekend. We had students in Elementary Chorus, Middle School Band, Senior Chorus, Jazz Band and Orchestra. Ethan Hallock had a vocal solo and Ethan Halat had a vibraphone/mallet solo during the concert. Great job everyone! You have made GCCS proud!

The third grade took their very first field trip of the year to Shaver Hill Farm in Harpersfield. They did a three week study of maple syrup production in the United States and Canada. They also learned about how maple syrup production has changed over time, and the tools that were used in the past and the present. This field trip was a great opportunity for the students to see how maple syrup is produced in our area, and the work that goes into it.
The Main Street Community Center in Windham is a non-profit organization, offering a wide range of classes and events to people of all ages in our community.
They will be hosting a seasonal job fair at the Center on April 8th from 12pm-5pm.
